Huge Beach Front Penthouse

We had a great time in this massive penthouse . Great line communication with the host. Would recommend it for a family or friends - great location

This condo is mixed. The size, location, and view are outstanding. It could be a five star plus property. There is a water tank, and it worked very well - our water was not interrupted when water rationing was happening. This is a big plus in PR. But … it’s cheaply maintained. The bedding and linens are old and dingy. Furniture is largely worn out. Improvements are a mix. Some things are nice - others are rusty or gross. The air conditioning works but not sufficiently to cool the larger upstairs bedrooms below mid 80s on hot days. There are no working fans.The owner/managers are extremely fast to respond but not helpful.We’ve stayed twice but will not return.

This property was a total disappointment. They market it as a luxury penthouse but in reality it is quite shabby. The location is great and the space of the unit is great but the furniture in and out is worn out and neglected. They have fake plants everywhere that are just collecting dust and look awful. The furniture is all mish-mash and doesn't make much sense. They have two beautiful kitchens BUT NO DISHWASHER!!! They also don't have much utensils or cooking items. We couldn't find a flat baking pan to heat up a pizza. Plus all of the dishes are hand washed so some items looked dirty - YUCK!Additionally, before going, we knew that San Juan was having a severe water problem. We asked our host a few times about this and they assured us that we will have back up water. On the first morning there, we realized that we in fact DID NOT have water. They needed to send their handyman to attach the plumbing. We watched him do this and when we complained, they told us that it was working upon arrival. Ummmm... no.... that's why he's here fixing it. Then again the water wasn't working. It was a simple switch on and turn lever. When I told management it still wasn't working, they said it was our fault. Ugh!! NEVER AGAIN. If you want to stay somewhere beautiful, and luxurious, don't stay here. Go to Old San Juan or Derado Beach.

The views were amazing from this property! It was plenty spacious for our two families. We appreciated the proximity to the beach and pool. The security at the property was also appreciated. I would only suggest providing guests with. Second garage door opener and key fob when large parties are using the rental as it can be hard to coordinate trips in and out with only one fob. This was our first trip to PR! Thanks for a great stay!

The location was great. Right on a beautiful beach. The unit was spacious and the furnishings were comfortable although a little worn. However, for the entire week there was no water supply to the building. We were rationed to only get running water 4 hours a day which meant for 20 hours a day no functioning toilets, no showers …. This started a week before we came and the owner was aware but did not notify us until we arrived. When asked for some compensation there was nothing offered except - sorry that’s Puerto Rico - and some bottles of drinking water. The guest relations woman was pleasant and responsive with other issues but could not offer to do much for us. We would like more notification and options to cancel or at least some compensation.
